Chicken Soup For The Preteen Soul
by Jack Canfield

This book is a great book, it shows me different experiences for different people and how god delivers them through it all. There are good and saddening stories but it gives us an assurance that god is in control. I Highly recommend this book to all.

Killing Commendatore
by Haruki Murakami

A portrait artist lives in the house of a famous retired elderly painter, after his divorce and year on the road. In this long, winding book, he meets various strange people and things. He learns a lot about life and death, and uncovers many secrets about art and family. I did not like this book because women and girls were portrayed in a very demeaning and insensitive way. The author came off as misogynistic and lazy, this wasn't his best work at all.

My Life In Black And White

I honestly enjoyed reading this book but I seriously question Alexa's sense of judgement. I also didn't like the build up of characters and their relevance to the story. All in all it was an entertaining book to read.

They Both Die at the End
by Adam Silvera

View in Library Catalog

This was devastating, yet beautiful and heartwarming -- which you can probably guess from the title. They Both Die at the End is about two boys, Rufus and Mateo, and the bond they form through an app called "Last Friend" on their dying day. This is an amazing read that delivers important messages and also features LGBTQ+ representation. It's one of the most unique books I've read this year, and I don't regret it at all.

Spy School British Invasion was a outstanding book. I recommend the book to people who like adventure and mystery And a happy ending. My only Question is what happened to Erica and Ben after deep cover.

Boys In The Boat
by Daniel James Brown

This book is the story of Joe Rantz and the University of Washington's rowing team- and their epic win at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. This story was really touching and it also helped me understand more of rowing and World War 2. I highly recommend this book.
